Service Agreement

Please read the terms below. If you accept them, complete the form at the bottom of this page.

01

Scope of Work

Each engagement is scoped individually. The services, languages, dates, and deliverables that apply to you are the ones confirmed in writing in your quote — this page sets out the terms that sit around that quote, not the work itself. If anything in your quote differs from what is written here, your quote governs.

02

Quotes and Fees

Fees depend on the length, subject matter, and urgency of the work, so they are quoted per job rather than published as a rate. No work begins, and nothing is owed, until you have received a written quote and confirmed it. If the scope of an engagement changes once it is under way, we will re-quote before continuing.

03

Confidentiality

Every translator and interpreter assigned to legal or medical material signs a confidentiality agreement before receiving your documents. Interpreters assigned to medical settings are HIPAA-compliant. We treat the contents of your documents, appointments, and calls as confidential, and we do not use them for any purpose other than delivering the work you have asked for.

04

Scheduling and Cancellation

We are reachable 24/7, and urgent and same-day requests are welcome — call rather than use a form when time matters. If you need to cancel or reschedule a booked interpreting assignment, tell us as early as you can so the interpreter can be released; late cancellations may still be chargeable, and we will tell you if that applies before invoicing you.

05

Accuracy and Corrections

Every translation goes through a quality review before delivery. If you believe something has been mistranslated or misinterpreted, tell us and we will review it and correct any error on our part at no charge. Where a court, agency, or other body has specific formal requirements for a translation, tell us before we begin so we can confirm whether we are able to meet them.

06

Your Responsibilities

Please give us the source material, language pair, subject matter, and any formal requirements up front, and let us know who the work is for. Accurate context is what lets us assign the right interpreter or translator, and incomplete information is the most common cause of delay.

07

Questions

If anything here is unclear, or you need a term adjusted for your organisation, contact us before accepting. We would rather answer a question now than discover a misunderstanding later.
